NAPILI na ang apat na pelikulang pasok bilang official entries sa 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival.

Ginawa ang announcement sa opisina ng MMDA noong June 29, 2018.

Una sa listahan ang Anne Curtis starrer from Viva Films titled Aurora (horror/thriller) na ididirek ni Yam Laranas.

Sumunod ang fantasy/comedy film na Fantastica, The Princess, The Prince and The Perya. Bida rito sina Vice Ganda, Maris Racal, Loisa Andalio at Maymay Entrata. Ito ay ididirek ni Barry Gonzales at co-production ng ABS-CBN Productions, Inc. (Star Cinema) at Viva Films.

Ikatlo ang Girl in the Orange Dress (romance) ng Quantum Films at MJM Productions na tampom sina Kim Chiu, Jessy Mendiola, Jericho Rosales, Sam Milby, Tom Rodriguez at Keith Thompson, to be directed by Jay Abello.

And finally, ang action/comeda na Popoy En Jack The Puliscredibles starring Vic Sotto and Coco Martin.

Co-prod naman ito ng CCM Film Prod., MZET Prod. at APT entertainnent. Si Coco (Rodel Nacianceno) rin ang magdidirek.

Apat pa ang pipiliin na kukumpleto sa official entries sa taunang film festival na nagaganap tuwing Kapaskuhan.
