“Well, I’ll be. I didn’t think I’d have to speak. To be young, gifted and black, we all know what it’s like to be told there’s no screen or stage to be featured on. We know what it’s like to be underneath and not above. We knew we had something special we could give the world,” sey pa ni Boseman.

Wagi naman si Glenn Close bilang Outstanding Female Actor in a Leading Role para sa The Wife. Tinalo niya ang si Lady Gaga para sa A Star Is Born. Naging suwerte raw ng 71-year old veteran Hollywood actress ay ang suot niyang singsing na galing pa sa kanyang lola na nangarap noong maging artista.

“This here is my grandmother’s wedding ring and she wanted to be an actress and I only knew that after she died. She never would have been allowed to do that. I feel like I’m carrying the women in my family who were wonderful mothers and wives, but could have had more personal expression probably,” sey ni Close.

“I thank Queen and Freddie Mercury. I get some power from him that is about stepping up and living your best life and being exactly who you want to be and accomplishing everything you so desire. I feel that, and he allows us all to feel that. So this is again for him,” diin pa ni Malek.
