“THE GHOSTING”, a mystery-horror tale like no other

SOLANTE Urban Legend comes alive in this new Andrea Brillantes and Khalil Ramos starrer.

Reality Entertainment, maker of critically-acclaimed horror hits such as Seklusyon (2016) and Kuwaresma (2019), presents a mystery-horror tale like no other.

The Ghosting revolves around the Solante urban legend. Reminiscent of local ghost stories like the white lady of Balete Drive, the Solante local lore is about a little girl carrying a headless doll who asks passersby to help her get home.

Little do they know that home is a mysterious red house visible only to her and her unassuming victims. Beware: do not take her hand and acknowledge her otherwise you will be ‘cursed’.

In the movie, Grace (Andrea Brillantes) just moved to Solante. While exploring her new neighborhood, she meets a little girl that matches the lost girl in the urban legend. Soon after, unusual events start happening to her.

Ken (Khalil Ramos) knows that the girl and the house have something to do with weird deaths in the neighborhood including Grace’s eventual disappearance. But of course no one else believes him.

Grace and Ken must uncover the truth and find a way to save Grace before it is too late.

The Ghosting is also the debut of one of Reality Entertainment’s promising directors, Joey de Guzman. It will be in cinemas starting August 28, 2019.

About the Title:

As the team wanted a title that has a similar ring to horror classics such as The Shining, The Haunting, The Ring as well as the documentary, The Keepers.

The Ghosting literally translates to “Ang Pagmumulto”. We want to play up the angle on how the girl does her “ghosting” to terrorize her victims.
